About Ally

Why Make an Appointment?

I hope you'll feel free to make an appointment to meet with me! There are lots of reasons you might want to do so.

We can...

  • come up with a solid strategy for researching your topic
  • refine your research topic
  • find and evaluate source material
  • identify people/experts on your topic
  • work through any troubling aspects of your research

Regardless of where you are in the research process, I am excited to meet with you! Don't hesitate to stop by or send me a note if you have any questions.

About Me

I’m the subject librarian for the College of Engineering and many of the science departments at Bucknell. I’m excited to meet with you to learn about your science and engineering interests and to talk about research! I’m also interested in library sustainability and studAlly holding a sea turtle ent-centered learning.

I am originally from Buffalo, New York, but spent time in northwestern Pennsylvania while I earned my BS in Environmental Science at Allegheny College. After college, I returned to New York to earn my MS in Information Science from the University at Albany.  I am happy to be back in PA and look forward to exploring the natural area.

I love reading science fiction books, trying out new vegetarian recipes, and playing video games on easy mode. I also enjoy visiting aquariums and learning about freshwater and marine ecology.
