Book Reviews

Do not use book reviews as an information source. They are meant to help people decide if they want to buy a book. If you find a book review that has helpful information, find the book it is referencing!

Finding More

Once you find at least one good source, you can use it to find more by:

  • Looking at the bibliography - do any of the cited sources look relevant to your search?
  • Look the book or article up in Google Scholar and see if anyone cited it. Do any of those sources look relevant to your search?
  • What terminology does the author use that you could use as new keywords in the databases

When you have a citation, look up the title in WorldCat or Google Scholar to find the full text.
