Remote Access to Library Resources

Accessing Library Collections and Resources

Student using laptop As a Bucknellian, whether you are studying remotely or on-campus, you can access many of the library's services and resources away from the library. In most cases, simply log into myBucknell, open a new tab, and then navigate to the library website

Almost all items in the library's collection can be found in the library catalog. Our collection contains many e-books which you can access from all over the world. You can also access many of our research databases from off campus! The Research by Subject guides list suggested databases, journals, and resources for each academic discipline and for many individual classes. You are also able to access PDFs of many journal articles.

If you find articles or book chapters in the research databases that we do not own, you can use the "Get It" button to request the item through interlibrary loan free of charge. Materials will be delivered in PDF format, and you will receive notification of their arrival in your Bucknell email.  You may also request books that Bucknell doesn't own.  We will do our best to find an e-book copy, but can't guarantee that we will be able to.

Connecting Google Scholar to Bucknell Library

Students who are not on campus can still link directly from Google Scholar to Bertrand Library subscription content. Here's how.
