Skip to Main ContentInterested in Bucknell history?
University Archives holds records dating to the University's founding, including those of student groups and campus offices.
We offer access to publications such as The Bucknellian and L'Agenda (yearbook) and more.
What is "Special Collections"?
SCUA holds rare books from across the Western canon and beyond. We also collect artists' books. Our manuscript collections provide opportunities for original research projects.
Can I get involved?
Interested in archives or rare books? Interested in a cultural heritage career path? We offer student employee positions and internships; please reach out!
I'm the Assistant University Archivist and Records Management Coordinator. In Special Collections & University Archives (SCUA), we partner with faculty to introduce students to primary sources including rare books, manuscripts, and archival records. We are happy to support research requests from students, faculty, staff, and the general public.
I also work with the campus community to support the records management program that ensures the university is keeping documents for just the right amount of time; many of these documents eventually are added to university archives.
While working to bring broader access to Bucknell’s institutional records, I enjoy getting to know the events and characters that made this place what it is today.
I hold an M.L.I.S with a concentration in archival studies from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and a B.F.A. in visual art with a concentration in nontoxic printmaking from the College of Santa Fe. Prior to working at Bucknell, I worked at the Public Library for Union County in Lewisburg as Development Coordinator. Before moving to Lewisburg, I lived in New Orleans and worked as a fundraiser with an environmental advocacy nonprofit and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. I grew up in Minnesota and, in addition to New Orleans, LA and Santa Fe, NM, have lived in Yellow Springs, OH, Lincoln City, OR, West Lebanon, NH, and Princeton, NJ.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking beautiful PA trails and traveling with my spouse and son.
Special Collections & University Archives is located on Lower Level 1 in Bertrand Library.
