Register to Vote - Pennsylvania

Register to VoteTo register to vote in the state of Pennsylvania, you will need to fill out the voter registration form, which you can access by clicking on the register to vote button or by going to the PA Voter Registration Page.

The last day to register to vote is 10/21/2024 if you want to vote in the 2024 GENERAL ELECTION held on 11/05/2024.  If you are not a U.S. citizen and a resident of Pennsylvania at least 30 days before the next election, you CANNOT register to vote.

If you wish to vote by absentee or mail-in ballot, your completed application must be received in the county office by 5:00 PM on 10/27/2020. The deadline to return your voted absentee or mail-in ballot is 8:00 PM on 11/05/2024. You can apply for an absentee ballot using the PA Voter Absentee Ballot Form.  You must be a registered voter to submit an application. You may check whether you are registered to vote in Pennsylvania using Find Voter Registration Status.

The requirements to register to vote in the state of Pennsylvania are as follows:

  • You must have been a citizen of the United States for at least one month before the next election date.
  • You must have been a resident of Pennsylvania and your election district for at least 30 days before the next election date.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age on the day of the next election.
