NYTimes.com Account Creation

NYTimes.com  – Bucknell students, faculty, and staff now have access to NYTimes.com and related content.

New York Times Account Activation

Step 1: Navigate to Access NYT
Step 2: Search for and select "Bucknell University, Lewisburg, PA"
Step 3: Click "Create Account" and complete fields; you must use your Bucknell email address
Step 4: Verify your account (you will receive a confirmation email)*

* The confirmation email may be routed to your spam folder. You must click the link in this email to complete the registration.

Existing New York Times ID

If you have previously registered your Bmail address on The New York Times site, you will click the "Already have an account?" "Log in here" link (found below the "Create Account" button).

New York Times Access via Library Databases

The library provides full-text access to both current and historical editions of the New York Times.

Students, Faculty, and Staff

Once registered, faculty/staff will have 4 years of account access, after which they must re-register by visiting accessnyt.com. Student academic passes will be valid until December of their graduation year.

If you currently have a paid subscription to NYTimes.com, please cancel it by calling 1-800-698-4637 before activating a free account.
