MIDE 201: Marketing: Getting Started

Getting Started

Who is this guide for?

This guide is intended for use by all MIDE 201 students, but anyone may use it for their own research.

What is the purpose of this guide?

Use the guide to help you find library resources, and even some external resources, that will help you in your research during the semester-long MIDE 201 marketing plan project. Most of the resources linked here are accessible by subscription only to Bucknell students, faculty, and staff.

How will this guide help me?

As in any research pursuit, you will be best prepared to succeed if you consult a variety of types of resources. The ones in this guide have been selected to specifically address your research needs, and they are organized by their purpose relevant to your project goals.

How do I get started with my research?

The box below, "How to Start Your Research: A DIY Guide," contains a series of tools for each "step" in the research process to help you get started and keep moving. If you get stuck, contact me or one of the other librarians for help (that's why we're here!).

I also want to point out that in the box in the bottom right corner of this page there is a video guide to finding a book in the library. Books can be a great way to find out a lot about a topic, and you can use the table of contents and/or the index to find specific places in a book that address your topic.
