Your First-year Personal Librarian is Katie Akateh.
Katie is the Research Data Services Specialist in Bertrand Library's Research Services group.
I grew up in a small town in Michigan and have a BS in Education and Masters in Public Policy from the University of Michigan. As a recovering nomad, before calling Pennsylvania home, I have lived in Michigan, Mississippi, Ohio, and California. Prior to joining the Research Services team here at Bucknell, I spent the past decade working on data analysis, research and evaluation in local government.
Outside of work (and Excel), I enjoy spending time with my husband and our four-year-old twins. On Saturdays in the fall you can find all of us watching college football. I also enjoy Jeopardy, reading, cooking, and traveling.
