Your First-year Personal Librarian is Eir Danielson.
Eir (pronounced like air) is the Assistant University Archivist and Records Management Coordinator. As part of the team in Special Collections/University Archives (SCUA), Eir partners with faculty to introduce students to primary sources including rare books, manuscripts, and archival records. She is happy to support research requests from students, faculty, staff, and the general public. While working to bring broader access to Bucknell’s institutional records, Eir enjoys getting to know the events and characters that make Bucknell what it is today.
Eir holds an M.L.I.S with a concentration in archival studies from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and a B.F.A. in visual art with a concentration in nontoxic printmaking from the College of Santa Fe. Before moving to Lewisburg, Eir lived in New Orleans, LA, Princeton, NJ, West Lebanon, NH, Santa Fe, NM, Lincoln City, OR, Yellow Springs, OH, and many areas in Minnesota.
Outside of work, Eir enjoys hiking beautiful PA trails and traveling with her spouse and son.
