- Keep you informed with periodic e-mail messages highlighting resources and programs
- Assist you with your research assignments by helping you identify the best sources and formulate search strategies
- Answer your questions about library services and resources
- Connect you with librarians across all subject areas
- Support you even when you’re not on campus—for example if you’re on break
- Help you when you don’t know where to start, or can’t think of what to do next!
Your First-year Personal Librarian is Mary Broussard.
Mary is the the Arts & Humanities Librarian and responsible for many of the arts and humanities departments.
Mary has a background in French and German including having lived in Pornic, France for a year and Mainz, Germany for a summer. She has a Master of Library Science from Indiana University, and is working on a Master of Instructional Design, Technology, and Leadership from Bloomsburg University. Mary has many scholarly interests, including the intersection of composition and rhetoric with information literacy, game-based learning, chronic illness, and vampires.
Outside of work, Mary enjoys hanging out with her son and cats, reading, creating a podcast on vampires, hiking, crafting, and sewing costumes.
