How do I Use the Computers in the Library?

Throughout the library, there are computers available for any Bucknell students, faculty, or staff to use. You can log into these computers using your BU username and password. Public computers are available on the second floor in the journal collection, throughout the first floor, and on lower level one in the map room, the Digital Video Editing Lab, the GIS Underground, and Computer lab 12.

If you are community borrower or do not have a Bucknell username and password, your computer access is limited to the set of computers on the first floor by the Research Help Area. To log in, please ask for assistance at the circulation desk and a staff member will unlock the computer for you. Please note that during peak library usage times, such as at the end of each academic semester, space may be limited. However, on most days there are many computers free.

How do I Print in the Library?

There are public printers throughout the library that you can print to, either from a library computer or your personal device with follow-me printing. The follow-me printers in Bertrand are located in the Tech Courtyard on the first floor, the 24-hour Study Space on the first floor, the second floor living room area (across from the main stairwell, through the doors and to the left), and in the third floor hallway.

Bertrand has one color printer, located at the back of Tech Courtyard in front of the Podcast Studio. All other printers in the library can only print in black and white.
