Scholarly Communication: Getting Support

The Scholarly Communications committee provides Bucknell’s faculty scholars with customized information, education, and guidance as well as the technical resources and support services needed throughout all steps of the scholarly communications process.

What can we help you with?

We can support you in:

  • Identifying and selecting outlets for publication for your research and measuring the impact of your scholarship.
  • Making your work available through "Green Open Access" and the Bucknell Digital Commons.
  • Identifying and selecting open educational resources (OERs) including open textbooks for your classes.
  • Negotiating with publishers

  • Teaching students in your courses or working with research assistants about issues related to publishing, copyright, creative commons, and other ethical, legal, and social justice aspects of information.

  • Other things (If you're not sure, please ask, we might already do it or consider adding it!)
